Huge Fan... Anyone else??

me me me me :D i miss The O.C so much :(

Same here, I used to watch every episode like 2-3 times and also the reruns. The first season was "AWESOME" but in the fourth season it got kinda boring (jus a little)... I never thought they would scrap it off completely but after Marrisa's death, they didn't have a choice, did they??

 

Ryan and Marrisa were like "Perfect" on screen... I LOVE THE SOUNDTRACK !!! Every song that appeared in the episodes were beautiful... I discovered many great bands from "The OC"...

 

I miss it.

i did not miss any episode too :) i remember sometimes i did not want to go out with friends just to stay at home to see The O.C lol then i was lucky, cause i had job in the shoping and from the place i was i had some tv´s :lol: so i could watch The O.C :D

 

yeah i cried so much when marissa died :/ and even Caleb, just like you i found some bands through The O.C like Death Cabe For Cutie :) the other day i was listenning to the radio and all of sudden they played Wonderwall by Ryan Adams :heart: i remember to listen to it and i immedialtly said to my sister that song was from The O.C

 

Plus, i always identify myself with Seth Cohen :shy:

 

edit: i cant find ryan adams in the soundtrack here at wikipedia :wacky: but im almost sure i listened to it thee :wacky:

 

Omg now seeing all those bands i realise that most of them are my favourite today :surprised:

LOL i remember it was Fix You that was playing by that time :blush: i dont know lol i just think a cried a lot during that ep , it was also the prom, and that part with Seth and Summer :heart::lol: it was beautiful

Has anyone told you that you cry a lot !!! My favorite scene from the series was probably at Season One Ending when "Hallelujah" plays (that is my fav. song of all time after Fix You).... I also loved the last scene of Season 4 where they show all the characters in the future and "Life is a Song" is played...

I think i´ve learned a lot with this tv show :) i just grew old,mentally and that.. cant explain..but looking back i realise it was very important for me

I hated Marissa with passion.

I dont know about her acting skills but I thought she and Ryan formed a very good on-screen couple.

Both (IMO) made the worst couple. Boring, always fighting.

Seth and Summer on the other hand <3

The Writers didn't give them enough opportunity... Ryan and Marrissa were like Ross and Rachel but they only had "We are on a break" phase..... On the other hand Seth and Summer were like given ample screen space...

Enough opportunity? They were officially together a very short period and they were horrendous together.

Gotta love Mr. Cohen btw.

I loved Seth.. He was humorous.. corky and very spontaneous...

 

As far as Ryan and Marrissa go I think The Writers are at blame more than the actors... They kept expanding the tragedies in Marrissa's life like anything and didn't give QUALITY screen time.. Whatever time they gave, it was either suspicion or fight that was going on...

And Julie Cooper too <3 So much fun.

 

Yeah I guess you're right about that. But at least they could've found a better actress, she seemed dull.

My fav character was definitely Sandy Cohen.

 

I found Marissa really annoying and a terrible actress.

 

I did though really like Autumn Resser in the show... for many reasons :wink3: :P

Taylor was funny after she stopped being a bitch in season 3.

I think Taylor and Ryan didn't form a good pair.. Rather a boring one just as Season 4.
