fictional or non-fictional books?

Featured Replies

Which ones do you prefer?

I tend to prefer non-fictional ones. Either biographies or stories that really happened.

I am reading a biography about Klaus Kinski at the moment (for those who don't know him: he was a german actor whose mind was kinda fucked up klaus_kinski.jpg)

and I find it fascinating how fucked up ones mind can be. On the other hand it is iteresting to read about opinions by other people (the next book I am going to read is about Ulrike Meinhof who was a political adapted woman in the 60s/70s until she turned into a terrorist (yeah stuff about german history....)

On the other hand there are those people who tell a certain story about their life. I find that more touching than someone who is telling me a love story that is totally fictional and propably stereotyped (yeah that might be the worst case) for example....

I am not into fantasy at all.....or into this stereotyped women literature (which is the worst actually)

fictional for me

but written like it really could happen like the Millenium books of Stieg Larsson

non-fiction for me. I do enjoy some non-fiction.

This quote for me. I do enjoy this quote.

I much prefer non-ficton,

I find it near to impossible to picture characters and settings in my head when reading fiction so yeah, it's not the most fun to read.

This quote for me. I do enjoy this quote.

I just realized what I said.

Allergy medicine has me fucked up right now.

Basically I don't really like to read books :shame:

But I prefer non-fictions because when I read fictions I tend to skip a lot of pages, I cannot wait to know the ending. :| :freak:

fiction for me i like to see what others can think of, like creativity

Fiction definitely. I just find non-fiction super boring and can't stick with it. I've been trying to read a book on American economy though; it's pretty interesting but I have to be in the mood for it.
