temporary files

Featured Replies

I have so many files in my temporary files folder D:

loads of them are JPEG images that I remember seeing but I have no idea how they managed to save to my computer  wtf, does it automatically save them or something?

But yeah question is, can I just delete everything in my temporary file folder? I don't know what half the folders contain, but can I just delete them all without it fucking up some of my installed software?

Um... temp files folder... where exactly?

search for the word "temp" on your hard drive and you'll find the folder

I'm no computer genius, but I think you can delete those. Assuming you have the files saved somewhere other than the temp folder, then I don't see the need to have them in the temp folder.

But I'd get someone else's opinion before deleting them. :P

Or delete them, wait a day, and check some of the files that you have saved somewhere else like pictures, before dumping your recycle bin. :uhoh:

It's safe to get rid of anything which is in the Temp files folder & Temporany Internet Files, as they are temporary.
