I am making a blog

Featured Replies

I have absolutely no idea how to make it look good.

Anybody have any suggestions on how to do that or are all my google searches making it look harder than it actually is?

well are you using like blogspot or something?

I think you can customize colors, if so pick a color scheme that works together and also I'd recommend working on making some good banners too.

perhaps talk to briggins for suggestions.

Yeah, I'm using blogspot. I figured it would be easy to make it look acceptable. Turns out it's not. I have no idea how to design banners or anything like that. Colour scheme I'd be OK with. Can you have a picture for the background?

I'm sure you can, I just don't know how to do it. I say contact briggs.

I'd try to help figure it out for you but I have to leave in a minute

join the club! Thankfully Coldplaying is full of talented people who can put their hand to anything, I'm sure someone will be glad to help you out :)

(hint: claret and blue is a good colour scheme! ;))

I can help you with that. I've been blogging on Blogspot since 2008.

To set a picture on your background: Dashboard > Design > Template Designer tab > Background > Background image > Upload image or choose from the default

Sweet, cheers Rudy, I'll give it a shot!

What's your blog?

I'm taking Web Page Design and Advanced Web Page Design next year. Too bad you couldn't have waited a year, then I might have been helpful. :P

Damn! Haha.

OK, I've got a background. It's nothing special. Just some Flaming Lips artwork.

Now I need something for the headline.

Do you have a link? I want to see what it looks like. :P

What do you want to do the blog on? Anything specific?

How do I change the header?

I've made a basic one but I can't see where I need to stick the code.

Cool! :awesome:

And sorry I don't know how to do that. :anxious:

if you need someone to design a header let me know, I can do it for you. just let me know what you want it to say and or show

Didn't see the last post. Sweet!

It only has to be basic but I want it to match the colours of the background and say 'The Drunk Room'. You have complete creative freedom otherwise haha. Don't worry if you don't have time.

You won't understand what I wrote on my blog. lulz.
