I've heard both on piano, but havent heard enough to decide who's better... I'll go with Ben Folds, hah...

I would honestly, prefer Rob anyday. Mainly for his work on Hand Me Down, which in my opinion, has a better sounding piano part then any Coldplay song.

I like them both. I've been a fan of Matchbox Twenty longer, and I really liked Rob Thomas' acoustic piano version of 3 AM... so I'll pick him.
