I heard this morning :sad: He was so young.

not only was he young but his career was just peaking. he had an incredible 2010 with I'm New Here and the Jamie xx remix and Kanye track only added to that.

Who is he? And how did he die?

this will probably be the one you've heard before some place or another.

basically he was a spoken word artist, poet and some consider him to be one of the godfathers of rap music. he had a pretty distinguished career through the 70s and 80s but in the last few years he had spent a lot of time in jail on drug related charges. as mentioned above he made one helluva come back last year.

 

i think he had been sick for a while.

Oh, no... What a loss to the industry. R.I.P. :sad:
