Weird Copyright Issue

Featured Replies

Hello people!

For the past couple of weeks I've been uploading a lot of Coldplay related videos into youtube...but I dont get like the weird copyright issues emails anymore. I'm not saying that I want them back, but when I uploaded my ETIAW teaser's video, immediately I get a notification that my video would be blocked by EMI. But when I uploaded my Major Minus video and Moving to Mars video...I get nothing.

Could this mean EMI isn't involved with Coldplay anymore?

...

Most likely there is a word filter that finds certain combinations of words, like a combo of tags and video titles, so YouTube auto-sends a DCMA notice.

I hate YouTub for bending over for things like that.

And bending over for Vevo, ugh.

I guess they do tend to be harsher on songs that are the single considering ETIAW is very popular atm

Actually i dont think they use tags...as it's uploading it gets sent through a program that like scans for copyrighted material, but thats my opinion
