Anyway,Phil Selway is such an awesome drummer and Ed is an amazing backing vocalist live.

I don't know how many of you are members on MT (Mortigi Trmpo) but I was just going through all the "legendary" threads there just because I'm bored and found again the thread called " Thom's shortlived MT membership

 

For those of you who don't know yet, Thom Yorke (lead singer of radiohead in case you didn't know that either) became a member of MT on the 3rd of July, and from what i gather insulted a load of people, made extensive use of racist language, and bitched about MT allowing illegal uploads of copywrited material.

 

He was banned by the mods, and all trace of his account ever existing was erased, and as a result lots of posters who bitched to the mods were banned, and MT was closed for a day of mourning.

 

I know anyone who was around on the 3rd is sick to death of the whole episode, but people like me who were away on the 3rd know very little, and are not yet bored of it as this is kinda the biggest thing to happen to MT ever.

 

So could someone who knows what happened please fill the rest of us in, with particular attention to details like what was his alias name, how did everyone know it was him, and who won the "who knows most about radiohead argument" that i gathered went on between penny and thom.

 

Much appreciated, especially as most of you are sick to death of this by now.
