I can only draw manga expressions... not actual faces which saddens me... :(

I'm working on realism, it's not easy, it's just a lot of practice . . . Lots and LOTS of practice. I just draw my cartoons in my style, and they always come out cute and with exaggerated expressions :P

Yeah and i read manga too :P

I draw everything in an at least somewhat realistic style (including animals...which I'm generally much better at)

 

It's a little hard to draw unrealistic stuff when you've been exposed to classical music and museums all your life. :p

Right, well, my mom (and brother and older cousins) are really talented and can do realistic stuff, I'm the odd ball who is still learning :sweatdrop:

I was absolute crap at art until 5th grade. :P

It's kind of strange, because on my mom's side, the talents are all over the place.

Then on my dad's side, everyone's an intellectual/smarty pants. Including myself. :lol:

My mom's side of the family is where all of the art comes from, my grandpa Chalres had a lot of talent . . . I never saw it, but I wish I could've. He was so wrapped up in business and I was too little to even think about it, and when I found out, he was in and out of the hospital and had memory problems. . . . I'm not going to get into it.
