I mean, it isn't bad (except for the, um, chorus, which . . . I really don't like at all .__. ) but I'm kinda worried about the direction they're taking . . . Major Minus and MtM are the only songs that have really 'wowed' me in the new era.

 

I don't know, maybe I'm just worrying over nothing :shrug: I hope the rest of MX can give me that 'wow' factor.

I don't know, but the lyrics are so... cheap? I don't know how to say it in englisch but I do not really like that wa wa wa waterfall and para para paradise thing...

I'm scared that I won't like Coldplay that much anymore, because I love loving Coldplay :p and really want to hear more of that magic music!

Though I like the beginning of paradise (before the para para paradise thing :p)

And Robin I do like the new stuff but when I think about Paradise and the direction really hard I get scared.

^^ Same here. Although, admittedly, I don't think the lyrics of Paradise are all that bad (better than the ones for ETiaW) but WHY in the WORLD are they singing wa-wa-wa and para-para-para all of a sudden?! :freak:

 

What made them think it was a good idea?

 

 

And yeah, Taameen, I just try not to think about it too much . . . the day after Paradise dropped I was actually sad all day because I was worried that the guys were becoming another one of "those" bands that release a few radio-friendly songs and then fade out after a few years.

 

But hey, just listen to Moving to Mars or Major Minus and you'll feel better :nice:

Yeah I figured the best thing to do is to surround myself with music that makes me feel good until I can actually be able to listen to it (Hokago Tea Time you're getting a theoretical cookie in the mail :heart: ) I kinda think the Para Para fits though...

The para-para bit is better than the wa-wa-wa, I have to agree; although I think it would have been better if they just replaced it with one long Pa-a-a-a-radise :shrug:

The wa-wa-wa was pretty riduculous IMO. Maybe people wouldn't have complained so much if there wasn't so many...Ohohoh parts in the song.

yeah the chorus made it less good, before it started I thought it was really great,

still think it's a nice song though, but I just expect more of Coldplay (maybe that's my problem, I'm expecting way too much)
