Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow has hinted she wants to marry Chris Martin but is waiting for him to pop the question.

 

The actress, who has been dating the Coldplay frontman for the past year, said she does “hope” to tie the knot.

 

Both Paltrow – interviewed for BBC1’s Parkinson show to be screened tomorrow night – and Martin have been coy about discussing their relationship.

 

Martin has often refused to use his girlfriend’s name when interviewed.

 

The pair even arrived separately when he went along to support her at the premiere of her new film Sylvia earlier this month to avoid being photographed together.

 

But asked by chat host Michael Parkinson whether she plans to marry, the Oscar-winner said: “I don’t know. I hope so.”

 

Pressed on whether that would be to Chris Martin, the Sliding Doors and Shakespeare In Love actress replied: “I’m the wrong person to ask – ask him.”

Eeeep, sounds like she's getting a little tired of waiting for him to ask. She should probably take into account they have only been together a year though.

well on her wanting to marry chris does not surprised me....

But I don't think wants to get married right now, and he won't want to be getting married now or at this moment with her for being all pushy about it and everything.... If I was her, I wouldn't even be worried about marriage, I mean you know if she says that she is so "happy with him" then what's the rush on getting married :rolleyes: I would just enjoy those moments and those "happy" moments that supposely she is having with him...
