From what i've heard (the ep and the new songs) looks like Will's contribution to the new material is really small. Most (if not all) the beats on the Ep are electronic and even the beat of Paradise.

If you pay attention when they perform ETIAW live you may notice that he play along with a pre-recorded loop....the only "real part of drums"in this song is about 1 minute long :(

I know what you mean. I was listening to Paradise yesterday and was thinking about Guy's Bass, Jonny's Guitar and Chris' lyrics/Piano. Suddenly I thought 'Oh, what about Will?':(

we all can hear the difference of will's beats even in the previous record, where most of the beats are 'electronic'.... a real drummer can't accept something like that.

But the electronic drums are probably all played by Will in the studio anyway. A drummer can also go from acoustic to electronic and still be playing the instrument. As he is the drummer, that´s how HE decided to play, otherwise he would have voiced his disagreement and we all know everyone listens when chief Will speaks up hehe

I take your word for it, but in Paradise I clearly hear the drums, high hat and everything. Whether they are electronic or not, they sound organic enough to me.

They stopped IMP and started again from the beginning.

Fix You was also corrupted because a piano backing track (I think) started too early when Chris hadn't even had his fingers on the piano.

Weird concert, don't want to think about it anymore.

Acoustic concerts? As in only acoustic instruments for the whole set? I highly doubt that will happen (unless they are recording an MTV unplugged I am not aware of). That said, I think we will have our share of acoustic moments throughout, so again a bit for everyone. I for one am looking forward to hearing Paradise of course and Every Tear live as it sounds awesome from the recordings I heard and Charlie Brown as well. All in all I think they are just getting better and better at playing live.

You might dislike that, but I do love the enthusiasm the shows have, together with how they care about little details, like painting instruments, clothes, etc. I have felt very much more involved with the show since Viva and am looking forward to more of that in the new tour.
