No it really is Em-Db-Ab. Listen to the bass if you're not sure. Although I can see why you'd think it's the same because it sounds pretty good on Paradise's progression (which, fun fact, is the same as Wonderwall and the slew of songs that uses that progression).

It does a bit in the way it steels the climax

The solo in Paradise reminds me of A Message and the vocal line in Up In Flames reminds me of A Message :o
