If there music had aged really badly then people would stop buying and playing such songs like Yellow, Clocks etc on the radio. No it means that you'll be embarrassed to have picked lyrics for a senior quote. When you're leafing through your yearbook, you don't want to say something along the lines of "wow I can't believe I picked that as my senior quote."
