Belgium people :wacky: Curry of course!

I'm not Belgian, I'm Dutch! :)

a lot of people on here, including me, strongly advise you to take english lessons because whatever you write is a horrible mess. thank you.

also, you are lacking humanity yourself, or how dare you say a human is "a problem" for the society? what do you do with these problems? erase them? a living being? let me get this right: to you, animals may not be harmed but it's ok with humans? animals are more precious than humans? there is something with a higher value than the life of a human? then YOU are seriously awful.

I like stay in my little world, but when people take to talk to me so it's with great pleasure to talk with them is the simple person like me.

where I live it is very difficult for me to find people who talk like me and when I find I am very happy. but is often elderly people, they tell me the same thing. where are the values in this society is going fast and too far.

watching today's where I live, people sell everything. throw everything. What is the value?

So but me I speak of have the right for not to respect people because no respect the animals, because hate and shots .

for me it is not human, they have no compassions, no value in human is just robots. and will do nothing for society for be more human and less the robots or zombies .

yeah i'd agree but you can't say every piece of meat you get came from a mistreated animal. that IS indeed not acceptable how animals ar treated in some cases, but there are enough alternatives and you can buy meat locally that comes from animals which had been treated the right way...

no of course not, I'm aware of that. but not all people know where to get meat and animal products locally and from places where the animals are treated nice + it might be more expensive than just getting meat in the grocery store you always go to and what not. It might just be easier to go vegetarian for some people. I don't know. I've just seen so much shit about the animal/meat industry like what how why ugh HUMANS.

Wait, is this a joke?

Lory, it is common knowledge that cattle (females are called cow and males are called bull) is the animal where the meat called 'beef' comes from. Of course you have breeds or cattle specific for producing milk and for producing meat. But the cattle that's used for meat are also female! So you eat beef from a cow.

In the French language this is the same.

If you don't believe me, look at the two links you gave as an example. The first one links to Vache and if you read the text it literally says "La vache est élevée soit pour son lait (races laitières), soit pour la production de viande"

The second link says that a Bœuf is " un mâle châtré de Bos taurus". Now click on Bos taurus to learn that this is just the Latin name of cattle. Scroll down to subpart "L'animal à viande" and is says there that beef (La viande de bœuf) comes from cattle. Yes, it says literally "En France, l'appellation « viande de bœuf » inclut les viandes de tous les gros bovins : vache, taureau, bœuf, taurillon ou génisse"

Please tell me you knew this :(

Belgium people :wacky: Curry of course!

you be more intelligent, and me less on the different meats. :\

but seriously I have never heard in my area to "manger un speak de vache" but more "un steak de boeuf"

but I guess all beef is eaten

I was a vegetarian for 3 years and then I started having awful headaches, I would faint 3-4 times in a week. I did all the blood tests from usual ones to specific ones for cancer and when my doctor realized I haven't eaten any meat in 3yrs I had two options. Either start with chicken 2-3 times per week or take 7 different pills every day. Chicken sounded muuuuch better! Now I only eat chicken, I dont eat pork or beef cause I don't like the taste.

Wow,so that proves that not eating any meat can be harmful to your health!!

Well if we go back to the early diet, thinking about prosimians, we find that this early diet consisted mainly of... insects. And insects may be one way of enjoying meat without the guilt surrounding the consumption of a fellow sentient being, since it's difficult to relate to the feelings of let's say a grasshopper or a two lined chestnut borer.

Now naturally many of you may be thinking that this is all a very well and good, but where does one obtain insects in a modern super-market? This is where combining our hunting and gathering instincts comes into play. Why not take a lesson from Felis catus, the domestic house cat? Cats are finicky eaters, preferring tuna, chicken, fish, and grasshoppers! Now applying the same hunting techniques of the cat to grasshoppers can provide hours of enjoyable exercise, and nourishing meat in our diets, all obtainable almost anywhere a patch of green grass may be found.

Preferable harvesting techniques, for those with less time and a gym to exercise in, will include the use of grasshopper netting and the aid of several assistants to round up the hoppers.

Once obtained, hopper is best served baked with melted butter like it's kissing cousin lobster; or deep fried.

bon appetite! :P

But on second though, just eat chicken and fish - both have been bred into unintelligible stupidity and emotional blandness, making them both easy to harvest and rather tasty! ;) Plus, they take less food per ounce of meat than beef by far, and both eat grasshoppers (if you would rather obtain your insects in a more circuitous route.)

Hmmmmmm, locust. We eat insects anyway without knowing.

The color in for example M&M's and Haribo (E120) comes from crushed beetles: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carmine

Enjoy your candy :D

Eating insects has also much less impact on the environment than eating the big stuff.

STFU im eating all the hamburgers

but most of the meats my family buys come from family farms, which do not treat the animals harshly or, at least, as harshly as the factory farms.

but a breakfast is no good without eggs, sausage & bacon. beans & mushrooms on their own just isn't right

Do you eat that every morning for breakfast? I'm asking because I know that's the typical English breakfast and I always wonder if English people really eat that every morning!

^ I haven't been much in England but when I was, that's what they gave me in the morning :D

and when I was in South America I could always choose between American and Englisch breakfast and we always chose the English one and it was like that, so then we ate that every morning :(

I'm happy keeping kosher, though I do have considered sometime in my life going vegetarian, but meh.
