So I want to record some covers but I don't have a drum kit... Are there any good, free programs out there that can generate realistic sounding drum patterns for use in my covers? Thanks.

Good Virtual Instruments for free? There are some however there is not much better than the drums from Toontrack.com, however it is payware.

But it is not as expensive as a drumkit with lessons, as appearantly Eddie does for every instrument he needs. :dozey:

I was also searching for a good way to do drums without paying a lot of money. I ended up buying an Alesis DM10 e-drum kit, so I wasn't really successfully in finding an alternative way... Although it was quite expensive I'm glad I bought it and I don't have to rely on a software which is probably tricky to use.

Just found something, it's called Hydrogen, It's pretty good!
