Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere (I did a search but couldn't find a thread), but was Don't Panic released as a single in the UK?

 

I remember seeing a video for it but don't recall it charting.

It was never released in the UK as a CD, no. They picked only European countries that they felt weren't swallowed by the previous two singles, "Yellow" and "Trouble". Of course at the time Don't Panic was released, "Trouble" was already becoming a hit in the UK. "Yellow" had already been a hit.
