I am trying to get tickets to any of the three Coldplay shows at the hollywood bowl. They dont say that they are sold out but no tickets appear when I am on ticketmaster. Does anyone know if the shows are sold out?

I think, for now, it's "sold out," because there are no more tickets being sold. But I do think they will be releasing more seats in the future.

I can't believe how quickly they went. And how many are on stub hub and ebay :(

Funny how Hollywood Bowl shows sold out so quickly. Seeing as the audience was so cold at the Grammy charity event Coldplay performed at last summer, I didn't think Hollywood cared this much. I hope tickets are going to real Coldplay fans and not these too cool to show emotions Hollywood types.

I didn't think tickets would go that fast either! Crazy.

As of Monday morning, when the general sale started, there were about 10,000 tickets already being re-sold on stubhub and eBay, between the 3 Hollywood Bowl shows (venue seats 18,000-ish). Almost all of the tickets were sold through AmEx presale that started last Wednesday, for May 1 and 2, and Friday, for May 4, and the Live Nation and radio station presale that was Sunday. I could not get 2 seats together during the general sale for May 4, the third show :( It's crazy.

As for the Samsung Summer Krush/Grammy Foundation show last summer, I'd say most of those tickets were free tickets that were distributed through online registration, and just a small percentage were purchased for the benefit.

Anyone who is Anyone, will be at these Hollywood shows, these 3 shows are not the same as the summer krush charity show, the Bowl shows will be jammed packed with Celebrities, like our very own Dianne:P

Well, I tried to get tickets to Portland after the initial sale (and passing on a row 24 seat ) and now there are none available from the official site. Same for Seattle according to friends without tickets - but I have great seats for that show!

It seems a lot of the shows are sold out, which is a good sign I guess. But a lot of them are probably on stubhub, etc. I think Houston is sold out too, as my friends said the other day that there were no tickets available from the Toyota Centre. I'm going to shoot for Portland closer to the show date - they usually release tickets then.

Simply crazy! I really don't like the AMEX presale decision at all. I was lucky to still get a ticket for my show on general sale day, and I even upgraded it after the holidays. Our show still has tickets.
