Film Survey

Featured Replies

Hi, I mostly lurk around here these days, but I wanted to ask if you guys could please take a quick survey for a project I'm working on at school. I have candy waiting for you in my windowless van! haha (not really, sorry...)

The survey can be found at:

Thank you so much!

Just couldn't bring myself to answer the questions. First, I don't characterize the films I enjoy in terms of genre. Whether a movie based in history or sci-fi or western (which I assume also fits with historical? don't mean diddly with regard to whether its appealing or worth seeing. Good and shit films can come from anywhere.

Also, questions like 'what is the worst recently made movie' or 'what do you think of recently made films' just strike me as pointless and abstract.

Thank you for your feedback! I genuinely do appreciate it.

Hi, I've just answered your questions. :)

That one will be hard to analyze for you!!!

So many open questions and only one to tick...

Why didn't you also ask for general info like gender, age and educational achievement?

Adding questions about how often your research participants visit the cinema, how important they'd say movies are for them in cultural life and in their life and which medium they use to watch movies (in cinema, renting a DVD, watching on laptop etc) would've been useful, too.

Those would have made it easier for you to characterize the sample!
