December 30, 200322 yr Author I've relistened to Ether Song ... ... and I'm going to stand by my rating. Some good songs, but those other albums at that point on the list have some good songs, too. In the end, I could probably see knocking the rating down before raising it up. The vocals have a sweet quality to them which makes it easy to indentify with the songs, but once I get beyond that I see a pretty average record.
December 31, 200322 yr Author OK ... so for those of you who are still interested ... ... I listened to HTTT and Elephant again today ... ... and I'm thinking of flipping them. Argh! It's so close. Why did people like each of these albums? If you heard both, when distiguishing qualities determined your preference. No, I'm not trolling to keep the thread alive ... ... much.
