What kind of acoustic guitar does chris play?

Featured Replies

I believe Chris Martin use acoustic Martin which is pretty expensive but I don't know what kind of model that Chris used.

He mostly uses Martin dreadnoughts. At the moment he is using either an HD-28 or a D-28 (I can't tell) for live performances. He used a D-15M on the MX tour.

He plays several, but my favorite is his Gibson Hummingbird.

thats a great guitar btw

D 28 is right! Prices start around 2000€ I think! Absolutely beautiful guitar, but I preferred the d15m more, even though it's cheaper! May I ask what's your budget?

Chris has used:

Takamine (Parachutes era)

Martin 000-15E cutaway (AROBTTH era)

Gibson SJ-200 (X&Y era)

Martin D28, Gibson Blues King (Viva era)

Martin D15M (MX era)

You have forgot the guild!

And I think one if the viva guitars was another brand as well, not the Gibson!
