It is a song that when I am in a good mood, I play it and just look at the sky and smile because it just makes me happy I remember when I saw them on the MX tour in Sydney 2012 and they were on the acoustic stage, after playing Us Against The World, I didn't know what they would play next. Nina8 Posted February 24, 2015 Share Posted February 24, 2015 I have this specific memory of the Speed of Sound. I remember I was on a high school trip and I was listening to X&Y. One of my school mates asked me what I listen and I replied the new Coldplay album and she said, oh, I really like their new song (she meant SOS, which she probably heard it on the radio). That's why I think that Speed of Sound was the song that made Coldplay even more popular, at least for all those people who hadn't heard of Clocks or In My Place before.
