Speed of Sound

Featured Replies

9 years today, Speed Of Sound was announced as the Billionth iTunes download :D

Talk about this awesome song here and what you thought of Speed Of Sound then and now

I think Speed of Sound is so great! It is a song that when I am in a good mood, I play it and just look at the sky and smile because it just makes me happy

I remember when I saw them on the MX tour in Sydney 2012 and they were on the acoustic stage, after playing Us Against The World, I didn't know what they would play next. Then they played acoustic Speed of Sound and it was just so awesome!

Amazing song, amazing album! :x&y:

I have this specific memory of the Speed of Sound. I remember I was on a high school trip and I was listening to X&Y. One of my school mates asked me what I listen and I replied the new Coldplay album and she said, oh, I really like their new song (she meant SOS, which she probably heard it on the radio). That's why I think that Speed of Sound was the song that made Coldplay even more popular, at least for all those people who hadn't heard of Clocks or In My Place before.

Generally, I like the song, but it's not my favourite from X&Y. And I really love the video :D
