since he didn't specify with anything like "we've had to change in front of each other" or something equally understandable, i'm just going to imagine there being EMBARRASSING WARDROBE MALFUNCTIONS because for some reason that's hilarious to me :P

I took it to mean he was just casual about it and didn't mind talking about it. No emotion there, really, I think.
