It says that category is decided by judges. Coldplay has to win either way :D

That explains it. But I don't see that when I go to the link that is in the tweet from Coldplay.

I have a category called best Indian act in place of that, so I assumed it was region based.

Did you try the short link in the Coldplay tweet?

When I go to the "normal" webpage I also get some categories that are related to my country. But I do see the 3 Coldplay nominations that we can vote for.
