lol it was SO MUCH FUN dressing up like a retard yday! i had some old girl scout vest thing and all this crazy junk and make up too. probably my favorite spirit day of the week.

 

edit- tacky day is a day where everyone gets to dress up all all wacko and stuff, as a part of school spirit week b/c our homecoming is this weekend. so i'll probably have like, a million pictures on monday :P

it's so much fun! well, our school does it to encourage "school spirit", or student participation, by having dress-up days one week during school that ends on the weekend with our homecoming football (american football lol) game. i live in texas, so football is a pretty big deal down here :P people get into the dress up days just to have fun :) tacky day is when you get to where the tackiest, weirdest looking outfit you can put together.

Saiqa..the BEST decades costume I ever saw was this one kid named Caleb. He dressed up like Moses (you know, from the bible) *roaring laugh*

 

he came in the class and we were all like, dude what decade are you from? He said something like " B.C. ya'll "

 

he had on a bed sheet that was like a tan color wrapped around him, and he made flips flops out of duck tape (the bottom part) and he tied bits of rope (to make roman style straps). So funny. And he has a cane too. And a beard.

 

Wow that kid was like brilliantly retarded. hahahah! I laugh everytime I think about him.

Anyway. I dunno if that is the thing for you. If I had a choice, it would be like 20's or 30's ...that style is coming back now. Lacy blouses and small hats. I love that!
