^whats your definiton of weird? probably society's definiton.....which is very inaccurate. i love marilyn manson. hes funny and very intelligent i was watching bowling for columbine and he was interviewed and he said the right things at the right times it was great. that movie kicked ass. well documentary. but alot of it was obviously wrong and exagerrated. but it still kicked ass.

Marilyns a great person and had some wonderfully creative albums (Even if it was just Nine Inch Nails all over again) but his new album just totally sucks, you have to wonder how the hell someone who wrote songs like 'Nobodies' and 'Dope Show' could come out with jock anthem 'This is the New Hit'. Christ.

yea it does suck. but i tend to listen to his old stuff alot more

I haven´t watched Bowling For Columbine yet. I really want to see it.

I never saw a interview with Marilyn Manson. I saw one of his video clips and his look is strange, I mean, make-up clothes, etc. I just think his weid ´cos of that. I don´t know him. I just looked at him.

But, who knows? I can´t say anything.

michael moore is a terrible journalist. anything he does is so obviously biased that it can't possibly be a fair representation of how things actually are. he's nothing more than the left-wing version of a bill o'reilly or rush limbaugh.

 

i do, however, agree with most of his underlying points, i just think it's a shame that he tries to prove them in such a terribly ineffective manner. a more intelligent filmmaker could easily make the same statements michael moore makes much more effectively simply by presenting the facts as they are, no bias.

 

about marilyn manson: he's way too intelligent to be making such idiotic "offensive for the sake of being offensive" crap. maybe him and michael moore should switch places. :lol:

I think the worst thing about Michael Moore is that hes such a fuckin idiot.

 

No sorry. The worst thing is that he seems to point his blaim finger at unknown sources, sometimes it just looks incredibly bad.

 

Like in Bowling for Columbine, he goes up to a cop who's standing at the side of the street, and starts saying "Im sorry sir, but I was wondering why I cant see the Hollywood hills, and its because of the smog. Is there any chance you can arrest people for making the smog?"

 

NOTE: Michael was NOT joking here, NOT joking...

 

The cop said "No, I dont think I could" and then slowly ignored michael and walked off, and Michael was like "Well why not? Sir, youre ignoring my question!" This to give the effect that the police ignore the real issues of today. Absolute bullshit.

 

Who exactly does Michael want arrested? Nearby factory workers? Bus drivers?

yeah, that's one thing he does that i hate, the accusatory and pointless interview. as if he was somehow expecting the policeman to say "well, despite the fact that i'm not properly equipped, trained, or even employed to handle anything other than street crime, i think you've got a point, let's go arrest every person who owns a car with an internal combustion engine."

 

and of course, moore actually has a point. smog IS a problem in major US cities. but wouldn't his and our time be better spent if he'd gone to city hall or tried to interview somebody at the EPA, rather than going up to some LAPD member and acting like it's his fault?

i think "Roger and Me" is a much better movie than "Bowling for Columbine," anyway.

bowling for columbine has so many false situations for entertaining purposes it made my head hurt. the whole doors unlocked in toronto thing i mean come on. i dont believe that at all. hes an obvious liar but to me his intentions are fine. great.
