I find that you need a sturdier match to do that. Not the ones in the flippy package that you get at bars, but the whole sticks that come in boxes. Those seem to work well igniting off of walls and stuff.

there's actually a special kind of match that's built to ignite on anything. i think they have blueish tips, as opposed to the traditional red or brown or whatever...

 

then again i could bay completely off.

I just do it, and make sure its not a saftey match emm nice eye !But ur 15 os I can not say that to u

yeah...u can't skimp on the flimsy matches and expect them to work on any surface! :P
