Yeah I usually get free tix each year because it's sponsored by guinness (which my mates uncle is very much involved in) but I don't know if the name change will affect that but if I don't get free tix I'll have to sort out my funds to see if I can afford one :lol: ....I'm only going the day muse are on! :rolleyes: :cool: :lol:

Yeah it all seems pretty good (apart from the darkness of course :dozey: )

But yeah I'd be into seeing franz ferdinand, the strokes and Bowie! But I dunno about the rest. I'd have to see if my mates wanna go too :) :cool: But yeah it'd be a good weekend :D

:lol: :P It's in july and tickets are: €59.50 for 1 day and €110 for 2 days...I'm not too sure about camping prices etc.. ;)

last year we had a festival called ROCK'N COKE and for 3 nights and 2 days it was 50-55 Euros!

When i went last year it was FANTASTIC! and the weather was amazing on both days.

i think for the number of bands which i want to see - which would cost a fortune seperately - it's quite reasonable :D

Fuck. How do people manage to get that many people to play in those kind of festivals anyways? Anyways, if I could go (ie had the financial resources), I'd totally go.

 

Funny how a lot of those musicians/band members aren't even from Ireland.

Yeah last year was beautiful! :cool: It was so nice and sunny! I remember being way way back listening to Gemma Hayes playing and me and my mates were just sunbathing :P everyone was really friendly too (well during the day before they were completely hammered!) That was my very first festival :P

I had many favourite moments...

- The Manics - need I say more?! :cool:

- Saw a little bit of David Gray singing as the sun was setting :)

- Not being able to breathe during the mad rush when Coldplay were on :stunned: *hates being short!*

- Randomly falling asleep on the grass with Jonny and waking to a bad case of sunburn :o :lol:

- The Thrills in the tent - they ROCKED!!! :smug:

there was a crazy :dizzy2: guy beside us in the crowd and every time Damien said "thanks" to the crowd, crazy guy shouted at the top of his voice "no, no Damien, thank YOU!!!!!!!!!!" :stunned:

in Rock'n Coke last year Eco and the Bunnymen were there and it was amazing , amazing :)
