Being both a fan of Coldplay and Gwyneth Paltrow I have always thought their friendship would last but that a true romance would not. She is looking for a father figure in a husband not a younger brother figure. Chris surely has been briefed on Gwyneth's behavior toward her boyfriends and has entered into this relationship with both eyes open.

She did need someone last Fall to get her through her grief over her dad's passing and Chris fitted the bill to distraction. He is a grdeat guy and if they can survive the year 2003 with all the separation a world tour and movie commitments will bring they might become a more acknowledged public couple. Seems they are staying close. They cuddled backstage at the Brits. It is reported that Gwyneth has moved into Chris' flat.
