Ok, usually i'd think these would be absolutely dreadful to watch, but yesterday night on ESPN, i was mesmerized! I couldn't stop watching.

The second runner up fainted at the microphone. They didn't even help him up! It was terrible!!

Oh, but the boy I was rooting for won! YAY!

Oh, and this part should be included in the Arts and Entertainment section, but watch Spellbound. It's a good watch.

YAY SPELLING!!

For some reason I love watching those little pint-sized geniuses in action! It's freakin amazing!

It really is!! I was in awe with all the crap they knew! The boy who won (the one i was rooting for) was in tears as he spelt his last word to be the champion. He was super cool!

But the third runner up was HILARIOUS!! He was the like the epitome of a NERD! He had glasses that rested on his nose, he had a nasal voice and poor posture. He sounded like all the geeks on the Simpsons! But he still did a good job. I think he was traumatized when he got this word wrong. :stunned:

 Woohoo!

What I find most amazing is that they not only know how to spell really freaking well, they also know like the roots and history of all the words! And these kids are like 10!! :stunned:

I know..they were like, "The origin of the word is Latin, right?" and they were!!! :stunned: Weirdness!!

Most (if not all) the words they were told to spell, i wasn't even aware they were words!!

Yeahh I don't know about those kids sometimes, do we know for sure that they're human?

Well, when the runner up fainted at the microphone, I thought I saw a spark coming from behind him. He was malfunctioning!! hahaha.

They can't be human. Or they're humans with like computer brains!! scary! :stunned:

I bet they're actually robots in uber-geek disguises so we won't suspect anything. :bucktooth:
