seems that finally i have internet in the students hall... :dance:

 

i've spent 3 days with my grandma. :) went out at night with my cousin on my bday. went to the river with my lil cousin (she's 6), and went to the fair. :cool:

 

i arrived to portugal last monday, and went to first lesson last thursday evening. i've met some erasmus students (poland, lituania, latvia, hungary, turkey...) we speak in english, there are 4 people from Spain too.

 

we have lessons from monday to thursday, so from friday to saturday there's party ...

 

i must do some things here yet...

in fact i've missed the morning class 'cause i needed it to configure the laptop to get to internet, seems is not totally right, 'cause i need to change an info, but i can't find where i have to change it, i will have to meet the guy again.... :thinking:

 

i just came from asking for lunch and dinner (we need to get tickets, if not we must pay more for the meal and can have only a meal (meat) (it happened to me already this sat mor, i hadn't had ordered it and got punished), and oh my i didn't understood the question (they ask you which kind of meal you want (meat, fish, diet), and they gave me all for meat meal :bigcry: (lunch, dinner, from monday to friday :bigcry:)

in general things are ok, but yet i'm busy. hope i can come at least twice a week. :kiss:

todo bien, aunque aún no me configuraron bien internet, me hicieron una cuenta, pero el muchacho puso la suya, asi que.. mañana tengo que ir para que ponga la mia, porque no he consguido encontrar donde lo configuró para cambiarlo yo misma. (me tocó muchos programas, instaló, desinstaló cosas..).

habemos 8 personas de España. en total 15 o 16 eramus creo.

2 de barcelona (un chico y una chica), un chico de burgos, dos de zamora y otros 2 de no sé donde...

nos dieron una hoja de actividades para el mes, mucha fiesta. :wacko:

 

en general bien, pero aun tengo que aprender bastante el idioma.

según dicen hay fiesta todas las semanas. en turismo no hay clase el viernes, así que imaginate. según dicen hacen fiestas hasta las 5 de la madrugada, demasiado para mi... unas horitas bueno, pero ¿tantas?

frente a la uni hay varios pubs-bares, donde suelen ir.

 

si buena impresión, gente muy amable y simpatica, con paciencia para tratar de entenderme, bien en tecnologias, la ciudad donde estoy es muy bonita, tiene muchos arboles, valles. lo malo que las tiendas son hipermercados y pillan lejos de la uni (que en teoria la uni está en un pueblo de viseu...), pero es como un barrio más, pero la tienda mas cercana me pilla a 15 minutos andando. no hay pequeños comercios.

ah el dia 12 van a hacer fiesta española jejeje. vamos que no vamos a tener descanso, porque tambien tienen, pase de modelos, partido de baloncesto, concurso trivial, casino... jeje.

 

ahí llevas razón, es que aqui hay muchas casas tipo chalet, bajas y tal (con construccion tradicional de aqui) y tiendas hay poco, se ve que la ciudad empezó a expandirse hace 10 años, porque ya aqui en exteriores hay edificios y no casitas.

estuve pensando en comprar una bici, para ir y venir a los sitios, especialmente pensando en las practicas que no sé donde me tocarán, pero claro luego tengo que estar pendiente de la bici.

 

que suerte, yo no pude, una vez porque los escuché al mes de que pasasen por aqui, y la otra vez tenia que ir a visitar a mi abuela, creo que era por navidad, pero sí estuve pensando de ir.

 

no sé suficiente portugues como para escribirlo, no entendería despues lo que he escrito, asi que lo pongo directamente en castellano... hay momentos que hablamos varias personas en varios idiomas, al menos español, portugués e inglés casi al mismo tiempo.

 

ahh aqui las series y pelis están en inglés subtituladas en portugues (si son americanas y eso), asi que imaginate el lío para seguirlas al principio, porque lo escucho en inglés y lo entiendo, pero trato leer en portugues para aprender algo tambien.

ah, quizás es una buena idea eso de comprarte la bici, seguro que te sería muy útil, aunque eso supongo que depende del transporte que usen allí... si tienen metro seguro que te irá bien.

(i don't know how you organize yourself to study it.. but the hardest subject that i ever had (complicated to study it, but was easy for me) was History of Arts, and i did resumes by age, school, author's style and so it was easier to study and to do the exam, i just had to remember the main features of each resume) :nice:

finally i went out yesterday night :dance:

 

i firstly meet two polish girls on a lounge-bar in front of student hall (at 10), then came like 6 people, in total there we were 13 or 14. (i said we were invading the place :p), i was sat between a spanish funny guy called Fernando, another guy which name i didn't knew... the guy finally introduce himself, he is one of the guys from Cyprus, (from the greek part), his name is Christopher :nice:, at 12 we moved to another bar in the centre that Fernando knows, there we went like 10 people, walking (20 minutes walking), during it Chris told us about him and his country, i had to act a translator sometimes for spanish people. at the bar of the centre, Fernando got a guitar, and came 3 people more. :o

we were at the terrace at first but it was so cold, so at 2am we got inside, and we tasted Porto wine :cool4: .wacky: so good one... and you know Chris looked at me a lot :uhoh: at 4 we left the bar to go back to students hall, walking i went with Fernando and Chris, and the guy from Cyprus told me that my english very good that he likes it, and i know a lot :smug2: we got into the students hall together and he told me to meet us today at 16 :o (the rest of erasmus are going today to visit other cities (like 10 of them), so we will stay here me, chris, theo (the other guy from Cyprus that i don't know yet) and Bolton (the hungarian guy), i don't know if those last 2 guys are coming, so i guess it's more or less, lol it could sound like a date between the Cyprus guy and me :uhoh: nah, it's just my imagination, right?

Btw the waiter of the bar of the centre looks so liks Brian Molko on the video Taste In Men :surprised: ...

 

so i will tell you later what happens with Chris today.. ;) :nice: although from what he said we had not many things in common but well... :) he is nice.

damn i went to the place 10 mins before the time we decide to meet... and wait outside it, till 10 mins after, tried to get to the lounge and was closed :cry: don't know where he (they) can be, may be in another pub on the other corner, but i didn't went there to see if they are there... (i didn't expected the other place to be closed), so i came back to the students hall, as i was shocked, i almost confused of building... and i don't have any portuguese mobile phone ('cause i don't have a portuguese mobile phone yet), so i can't even call them to know where they are :bigcry: my only contact (via mail) is visiting Aveiro :bigcry: i'm feeling so bad now, even stupid :(
