are you having exams or tests soon?

i don't ought to go to uni lectures just do a semestre work for each subject, but i'm going to lectures to learn portuguese, with each portuguese that i talk, says that i speak good although at first i'm so doubtful when i speak... but i'm improving fast. :)

in fact i'm almost like the official translator for erasmus hehe (portuguese, spanish, english), so funny how easy i change from one language to other, but some times i end a bit confused lol..need a bit of practice for that yet...

hiya sally :nice:

great, congrats for you ;)

are you studying the degree that you wanted to? when have you started it? how many subjects do you have?

i'm doing fine, i will have a lecture in 2 hours.

things are going ok, kind people, nice place.

i just have to do a final work this semester on each subject (4), and i don't ought to attend lectures all days..

i hope that the coordinator could get me to do a stage at weekends, and i hope it'll be payed. (it'll be good like 200€ per month for me).

erasmus people here seems to be always in parties.. i came here to study not to party each day :(

thanks! i'm doing english and i've started 2 weeks ago

sounds good. we've got five modules which is quite a lot of work.

its the same with students in the uk, thats just a part of student life i guess. i went out with the girls i live with on friday and it was really nice. they all seem very nice. i stayed in yesterday watched match of the day and went to sleep because i was dead tired. i've got quite a lot of work to do for uni today.

wow so cool :D

wow 5 modules, yes it looks like a lot.

the girls who you live with are english?

not all of them, one is welsh and one is irish.

who do you live with?

oh, but they speak english anyways. :)

i have my own room in the students hall... mainly there are people from Portugal here, on the 1 and 2nd floor (i'm in the 3rd floor).

on my floor live the erasmus, but is only me now and another girl that i don0t know.. there are two turkish girls here too, but i think they want to move to a flat, and i haven't seen them since like 3 or 4 days.. :uhoh:

my student hall building is only for girls, boys are in other one next mine, but are only allowed to come to living room (the entrance), strict rules about it... but yesterday i got to know, something not so fair... the receptionist (a young girl) at night and weekends of mine, is dating the guys receptionist :o that's not fair, they can mix and we the students not  i wish there were no so strict rules, so chris won't be afraid of coming to mine.

i guess people will ignore them rules after some time tough. still i dont see any point why there should be such rules, you're all adults after all. but yeah it isnt fair that there's different rules for people who work at the reception.

aww i hope you get to know you're flatmates soon. i think its rather important to get on with the people you live with.

that's what we all think, and why some people is leaving the studing hall and move to a flat next to uni... (chris was thinking about that, and i think that the turkish girl has moved already)..

the problem is that we study different degrees so have different timetables... so is difficult to meet us.. (in the student hall), my floor is almost empty, and i don't know the other girl (as i told you i haven't seen the turkish girls since like 4 days ago, and they were talking about moving to a flat the last time i saw them)...

hope that till i can get a portuguese mobile phone, people will contact me as the polish girls will do (coming to my students hall and leaving a paper on the "box" of my number of room).. is not that difficult do that...

my day was ok, i had no lectures, and i went to buy a portuguese mobile.

I went to Guillermo's bday party, but people were playing tecno music with both guillermo, fernando and i don't like, so they told me to be the dj next time  man i'll dj on a party next time (hope they don't forget that). i drunk many drinks. i started with a coke, then like 3 glasses of sangria. then the party finished and we went to a concert that was at uni (there i drunk like 2 glasses of beer):surprised: i enjoyed it specially at the end, when i dances like a crazy, played air guitar jams with guys (i was the only girl doing it, and they liked it, because they jammed several times in front of me expecting me to join the jam:p), i really danced like a fool when the band played PF We don't need no education :cool4: but they were finishing (we made them came again:p) and people started so shout Erasmus, Errasmus.. hahaha we rock.. some people of Erasmus even got into the stage with the band :D

btw the party started at 8 and we went to bed at 2.30. (we made hi-fi play till tha ttime:p)

http://www.hi-fi.com.pt/

^^ that's the band that played. They were taking pics of the audience, so may be we will appear there soon... i'll look it daily and if i appear there i will let you know. ;) they rock, wow the singer remembered me so much to Linkin Park, so much rythm, and it totally rocked when closed to end one of the guys came to the stage with a military hat and a guitar that looked like a gun.

so i must prepare a concert :uhoh: may be i should open a thread for sugestions.. (bands, order....)...
