Can I just ask, what is wrong with pop Coldplay? The band has so much content that is "rock/soft-rock" enough for you to listen to. Every single Coldplay track does not have to be a certain genre. If they want to make pop tracks, let them make pop tracks! So far, this is my favourite Coldplay song that they've released in years.

Coldplay’s new single, Higher Power, is out now via Parlophone / Atlantic. The Max Martin-produced song is available to stream / download everywhere here. To celebrate Higher Power’s release, the band linked up for an extraterrestrial video chat with French ESA astronaut Thomas Pesquet, who is currently on board the International Space Station. A specially-recorded performance of Higher Power - featuring dancing alien holograms - was beamed up to Pesquet, who gave the track its very first play on board the ISS. The song’s premiere followed a conversation which took in similarities between life on tour and life on the ISS; the fragility of planet earth; and whether Pesquet has spotted any aliens. Coldplay will perform Higher Power on American Idol on Sunday (May 9) and at the BRIT Awards on Tuesday (May 11). The band will also perform a set for Glastonbury’s Live At Worthy Farm global livestream on May 22. -

I'd like to remind everyone that while discussion of leaks is allowed, you are not allowed share the links publicly.I agree, the previous theme was my favourite. I think I will revert to it, offer users to switch between the ligher theme and the current 'Higher Power' theme. The other themes shouldn't even be there. They are beyond defunct at this point.I mostly agree. It's only a 15 second snippet, this song could be epic and we won't have any idea until Friday comes. Max Martin is likely the producer of this single and if an album follows then he likely has no involvement. They could easily treat us with some epic tracks, let's not jump to conclusions yet!Overall though, what is everyone's favourite theme? Without paying attention the the current bugs, do people prefer the new theme over the older one. I can easily make both available but which one should be the default theme?
