I prefer the live version as well, the mix is so blurry and buries the epic piano and guitar solos in noise. Not quite as good as Hypnotised for me. As for the rest of the EP, I had high expectations after Hypnotised and AICTAIY Live but these have been lowered now. Just as I had a feeling CP were about to get better and back on track again, here they come with Big Sean. It's never gonna change, never.

According to the statement on Coldplay.com, it is the live version from Tokyo in April.

What a surprise release ! I definitely prefer the live version. Too much blurriness in the mix here, weird and slurry effects on Chris's vocals, the epic piano and guitar get drowned in a blurry haze of noise and strings/synths. The "live recording" interjections from Chris (go, J, the counting) also don't quite go with the atmospheric effect, and as has been said before another abrupt ending similar to Birds. I get that this effect was done on purpose to create a dream-like atmosphere, but I wish they had put the guitar and piano in higher in the mix. Why bury the best parts in a downpour of noise ? All in all a solid song though, doesn't quite live up to Hypnotised for me.

I think it is a bit mean to tease the song like that and not even have the slightest intention of playing it, as evidenced by the setlist. They know exactly that fans are waiting for this...

Nice photos, but the setlist is nothing new again :-/ Really disappointing that they have become so "lazy" - and no Hypnotised again. Which song has those long colourful lamettas ?

So Hypnotised wasn't played after all, even though the app instructions are now officially shown on the screen ? Anyone know what was played on the C-stage ?
