I went Christmas shopping today and ran into way too many Co-ldplay-incidences: - Metal Flower of Life pendant in store - huge colourless Flower of Life sign on some shop door my bus passed - heard Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas in a shop, and thought it sounds "wrong" (for me, only the Chris version is the correct one :p) - heard a song that sounded familiar in the supermarket and then realized it is one of the songs the guys sing in the Christmas Message 2004 (the one that begins with 'Christmas Time....'

Oh you meant lyric lines? I see ! And oops, only the last line overlaps in our interpretation.... :D

Hm, I stil don't get it. I see those lines but i thought they were artifacts...

Sorry to hear about the breakup (after 9.5yrs?! that must be horrible !) stay strong ! :( On another note, @girl_in_the_band_tshirt (Maya), I hardly dare to ask because I know I was too late and sent it afte Christmas, but did you ever get my package for last year's Secret Santa ?

What lines ? I guessed White Shadows because of the children (when I was a young boy), the star (sparkle and glisten) and the files/calendar (part of a system, a plan)

Umm, any guesses ? Here's a hint. Yellow and Green Eyes both have a special property that sets them apart from other songs. Find the next one in line with that property. Also where are you, Nee, seems like we nied you ! :P

Yes, I don't even know what the previous owner did to this disc ! I mean, I can understand a few scratches through regular use (as most used discs have, and those do not impair the function), but this disc looks like it has been attacked with a knife or something ! :mad:

For me, it was being up late...and after I last posted, it took me around 1,5 hrs more to actually fall asleep :( but unfortunately I had to get up early again, so tired right now ! It's the same, I often can't turn off my brain and fall asleep.

So I just carefully tried to get rid of the scratches using the toothpaste method according to Youtube videos and the internet, and it changed...exactly nothing. I'm so sad because it was part of an auction of a bunch of CDs on ebay, most of which are from other bands I don't care about, and I just bid on that bunch of discs because this Coldplay X&Y Era bootleg was part of it. And all the other discs are fine, just that one is damaged even though the seller assured they all "play perfectly" ! Every track after track 3 is completely unreadable ! This is how it looks like: Since there are a lot of disc collectors in this thread - can anyone help ? Does anyone have a suggestion how to repair this ? :pensive:
