LOL, so he didnt just insult Chris Martin but also the Coldplay fans in general...didn't know that. But don't waste any thoughts on people like him. Many of these so-called "stars" just have money and nothing else, no decency, no good behaviour, no humility. Every time I hear about the public behaviour of such people, I get reminded why I like Coldplay beyond their music - because they are polite, decent, grounded and kind human beings. I may like one song or one music piece by an artist who has those negative qualities, but I could never call myself a fan of an artist whose actions or behaviour I find inappropriate.

I found out that my roommate in the temporary place where I am staying until I go home in 2 weeks is from Mexico! Unfortunately, we have communication trouble because she doesn't really speak any English and I don't speak any Spanish. when I heard Mexico I immediately thought of Foro Sol, the AHFOD video, Frida Kahlo and Viva La Vida, and the Day of the Dead (but obviously I didnt mention any of these to her, would have been weird I think :P I did say I know someone from Mexico though and I meant you @alisbe :))

Given that Echo and the Bunnymen frontman Ian McCulloch actually listened to AROBTTH with Chris and critiqued and helped shape it (like I heard), some lines in Crests of Waves are almost certainly a nod to the last track on their 4th album (Ocean Rain). Not only - beaten down by this ocean rain - but also the similarity in the lines Screaming out from the crest of waves (CP)/ Screaming from beneath the waves (EATBM). Your turn ! :)
