Thanks for your advice. I have only been to one rock concert in my entire life (small band, small venue), and I stood second row. It was really awful, I sometimes just plugged my phone earbuds in but in the end I could not really enjoy the songs because of the loudness. If I manage to get to a Coldplay concert I will definitely have to wear something. Can you still hear and enjoy the songs really well with these professional earplugs ? Cause with foam buds or my phone earbuds I noticed unfortunately they blocked a lot of song "content" away too....

Actually it should not be hot in London right now because COLDplay are there. You'll see, when COLDplay leave for their South American Tour in a few weeks it will gradually become hotter in London because COLDplay is moving away.

No, for me it really takes away from the song. I love the vocals especially in the last two lines, it almost feels like a bird solemnly spreading its wings to take off...and then suddenly, it crashes into a wall head-first. That's what it feels like for me.

OMG, Coldplay coming to NYC ???!!! I just applied for a fan pass ! It would be a dream come true if this worked out. I have two questions, for people like @Christa42 who know more about this than me: - It says only for legal US residents. Does that mean I can't go if I am in the US on a visa ? Do I have to be American Citizen ? Or does it just mean you have to be in the US on a legal basis ? - I'm from MA, and going to NYC (by bus) would be a big thing for me. Is is worth going there even if I don't get a fan pass and trying to line up ? Or are events like these so overbooked that I will in all likelihood be turned away if I have no ticket ?

Recorded with a potato ? LOL I think it was a camcorder but not a very good one. Also, the recorded was pretty far away from the scene. Have you seen the video ? A View From The Top truly is a masterpiece of a song. That XMTS is on an album and this never even got properly recorded should be considered a crime against music !! :D
