Thanks ! At the moment my mind just goes blank when I play the Clocks motif, and my hands go blank when I start singing. I've never been good at multitasking. I also find it difficult to focus on the beat only. Maybe I just need to practice it more till I can play it without the need to think about it at all ! Hey my voice is terrible too, but that doesn't stop me from singing. Don't ever give up ! :)

Haha, when I went to the US I even took AROBTTH and X&Y with me (which I don't need because I have everything digitally) just in case I get to meet them at the Global Citizen Festival or somewhere else ! But of course, I didn't even make it to the festival...

I'm making progress on learning Clocks on the piano/keyboard, and today I showed it to my grandma. Unfortunately I failed at singing at the same time when playing - I can sing Clocks quite well, and I can play it on piano reasonably well now (at least the first half), but both will not combine ! The verses are still OK because the singing melody and the piano melody are the same, but when I get to "Youuuuuu....aaaare", I get out of rhythm with playing the Clocks motif while singing. And my grandma had to laugh when I attempted that part :D

Well, my favorites off this album are probably VLV, Cemeteries Of London and Lost! But maybe "parts of Viva" was not the right wording, I meant to say that Viva already had a different sound/style from what I liked about Coldplay but most of the songs were still very good. That's what I meant.

If I'd meet them, I would be honest with them and tell them that I absolutely adore everything from the Safety EP till X&Y and parts of Viva and that they are my favorite band of all time, but that I am entirely disppointed with their musical direction post-Viva. Then I would let them sign my copies of Brothers and Sisters, Parachutes, AROBTTH and X&Y (if I had them with me)
