3. Another reason why they should've added jonny's guitars in the intro Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
4. So I went to a local record store to get the EP on vinyl and it actually came with the stickers suprisingly EDIT: Okay so I listened to it on vinyl and it honestly sounds eh, with the worst sounding song being SJLT (obviously). The entire thing sounds very muffled. My AHFOD vinyl sounds the same way. I think they should quit whatever company they use for pressings because my other coldplay vinyl sound amazing but not this one. Kind of disappointed :/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
5. 6/10 Drone music isn't really my thing, but I think this would fit well in that genre. I think I just didnt listen to it in the right setting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
6. 9/10 - The intro reminds me of the Hypnotised app! The vocalist also sounds A LOT like Bjork (which isnt a bad thing). I dig! Im honestly glad this thread came back to life. Its a great way to get new music. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
7. 8/10 - I was literally listening to this moments ago! I've always liked this band for their style, reminds me a lot of The XX and Florence + the machine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
8. Funny vid, but im sharing this here because there's a nice little piano rendition of Fix You at the end Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
9. 9/10 very mesmerizing, and that buildup and breakdown was very beautiful Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
10. Its so obvious they rushed this and made rather immature decisions. They most likely added the extra 30 seconds of Hypnotised after they sent the EP in for the pressings and physicals. I dont blame them though, being on a worldwide tour and all, but this release was messy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
11. I think we should've gotten an album full of songs similar to Moving to Mars, Aliens, and Major Minus instead of mx. It was the vibe they were going before Rihanna got to their heads and Brian Eno left during the MX sessions. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
12. 8/10 - Like a combination of MGMT and TR/ST. I dig it, very dark psychedelics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83LgToGsFdk Mobile Link: https://youtu.be/83LgToGsFdk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
13. Saw Dunkirk a few days ago. I loved how Christopher Nolan created very little dialogue so that the entire story can be mostly represented by the visuals. The intensity was consistent throughout the movie and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I will say that the music seemed a little overdramatic. But past that, this was definitely one of Nolan's best films. 9/10 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
14. Well thats what he thought before they did a duet. But now Liam thinks they sound "fucking great" Still though, I wont deny the obvious. I hate to say it, but Liam is similar to Donald Trump and people feed off of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
15. 7.5/10 - Gave me some great nostalgia :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
16. Like I said, Pilar Zeta has it. She posted it on her instagram Mobile Link: https://instagram.com/p/BVd7giBhgj7/ But of course, you would have to use other means to get the HD version. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
17. good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
18. I was looking around the #NYCrequest hashtag and I've been seeing a lot of diverse selections. The most popular ones were: Strawberry Swing Speed of Sound Us Against the World (unfortunately) Amsterdam Hurts Like Heaven I also saw some for Politik, LiTii, See You Soon, Everything's Not Lost, Lost!, etc. I really hope they branch out finally tomorrow. Im tired of the same songs over and over again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
19. Not a movie, but an Amazon series: Just finished The Man in the High Castle. If you have Amazon Prime, start watching this. Its a fantastic alternate history series about if the Axis Powers won WWII. Very underrated series. 9.5/10 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
20. Mobile Link: https://twitter.com/mtv/status/889925117568065537 Can we all talk about these excellent photoshop skills? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
21. Every odd numbered track is their best in years. You will be suprised Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
22. Guys, I understand that I shouldnt let other people's opinions affect me, but like @ColdplayingfromKansas said, it gets excessive on certain artists. I understand numbers have no value, *but my complaint goes towards music journalism and what is being qualified as acceptable rather than the hate the band have been getting.* Also, all 4 of their first albums were fairly enjoyed by both critics and fans. I wasnt really referring to the "coldplay haters" that think they were "radiohead copycats" or some bull crap like that, but more of the music critics that are supposed to be unbiased . Besides that, in this point in time, there isn't really any hate on Coldplay anymore within the general masses. It isnt a "trendy" thing to do anymore. Really, it only exists in this type of music journalism that is clearly behind on this. So all in all, Im pointing out how ridiculous and biased music journalism is getting at not only Coldplay, but several other areas in the industry as well (an example would be Alt. Press). 23. Ok I just checked the rating for the EP on Metacritic and its a 60!!! That's the same exact rating for AHFOD! http://www.metacritic.com/music/kaleidoscope-ep/coldplay There is an obvious biased hate against the band from the more obscure music reviewers that still somehow get approved by Metacritic. https://www.tinymixtapes.com/music-review/coldplay-kaleidoscope-ep Im talking about tasteless, ignorant and closed-minded reviews like these. No where did this reviewer mention the 3 tracks that have been highlighted by many others as their best in years. At least NME stayed open minded and gave the band a chance. Im starting to get frustrated with not only the biased hate going against the band, but also music journalism in general. I know I shouldnt be worried about what the critics think, but its starting to get a little odd and questionable. I keep on wondering when Coldplay will be liked by both critics and fans again. It may never happen, but hopefully a 2 year break and change in sound will convince people that they arent in it to stay relevant Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
24. You would probably have to contact Pilar Zeta, Coldplay's artist. She has some social media platforms Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
