Listening to Dua Lipa's duet with Chris "Homesick". As soon as I heard that piano, I knew it was Chris' own home studio piano. A Very blissful, delicate and genuine piano ballad. Dua Lipa has a gorgeous voice that matches perfectly with Chris' own voice. It has beautiful and atmospheric vibes from Everglow and Fly On. Im listening to it over and over again. Its that powerful. Check it out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Kaleidoscope EP
I guess they learned a lesson from releasing AHFOD too close to the release of Adele's 25. Honestly, I feel like it could be a suprise release like Something Just Like This. If this is their plan, then they wanted people to become skeptical of when it will actually be released. Therefore, it'll be more like a suprise. Still though, if its going to be released on June 30th or even August 8th like the Amazon preorder suggested, 2 of the songs are going to be 5-6 months old. They will be stale. If they go through with delaying the release, unless they add songs, it would be a poor marketing plan. But I guess that's nothing unexpected from the band. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Chainsmokers
Hey @SprayCanSoulGuy !! Nice to see you again. Its been a while. Guy has a small and simple bass part at the bridge that is barely audible as an actual bass guitar. The drop was actually just copy and pasted from their other song Roses. The Chainsmokers dont know how to produce music honestly. That aside, do you perhaps have a FLAC or WAV version of your Ghost Stories project anywhere? I became an "audiophile" during the past year and I cant stand listening to the OG version of Ghost Stories anymore, so I could really use that version haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok, the new harry styles album is fantastic. The opener track "Meet Me In The Hallway" sounds like it's straight from The Blue Room EP and Radiohead's "Ok Computer" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

@cp3176 Some people (like me) think that Brian Eno's production on both MX and Viva (the latter more) is a little muddy. But that's the only kind of dislike that I've seen on him. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Your favourite 5 bands at the moment... in no order are...
Yep, its time to update. Excluding Coldplay, here is another top 5 list: 1. Porter Robinson / Madeon (tie) 2. Grimes 3. Purity Ring 4. Lorde 5. Shura Others: Passion Pit, The Naked and Famous, Paramore, Jamie XX, The XX, Shura, etc. Yeah, I guess you could say that I'm going through a bit of an electronic dance / Electropop phase currently. I've been enjoying this guy's content recently, he likes to make fun of recent trends (including the Chainsmokers haha). Eh he makes fun of Coldplay in one part, but the rest is on point. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think we can all blame Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie for AHFOD. They invited the band to make Miracles for Unbroken, where they met Stargate. If that hadn't happened, maybe we would've gotten the proper alt. rock/electronic album that we were supposed to get. I think that's what All I Can Think About Is You represents....what AHFOD was SUPPOSED to be Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

"Something Just Like This" - The Chainsmokers & Coldplay
The album is currently standing at a whopping 43/100 on Metacritic. That's the second lowest ever on that website. How embarrassing for them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Judging from the trailer, the overall direction style and tone seems a little better than episode 7. I'm pretty excited about what Rian Johnson has in store for us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is exactly what I thought at first listen. But, when you get to the lyricism, you realize that this album is painstakingly bad. Take "Break Up Every Night" for an example: "She wants to f*ck me back to life, I can't help but like the way she makes me feel". There's also lines like "f*ck it yeah I said" and "Im f*cked up I'm faded I'm so complicated" all around this thing. They keep reusing the same word and it gets way too repetitive They tend to also heavily draw from other points in the music industry, even themselves. There are more songs on here that follow the same 3-chord progression line on Closer. Its way overused. Not to mention the fact that they pretty much copy and pasted the drop from Roses back onto SJLT. There's another point on the album that also drew from Roses, but I cant remember which one. I've been saying this for the longest time now, but "Paris" rips off both M83 and The 1975. Its a very basic and song imo. The song structure is just like Midnight City by M83, and the lyrical concepts and some of the synth lines are straight from The 1975. I actually watched the snl version of this song and it was much better. As a music producer, I can tell you that the synths they use for their drops are very very cliche and overused in the music industry. Much of it sounds alot like DJ Snake's earlier work. They have a fortune now, but they still use these very cheap synthesizers. I honestly dont think Drew Taggart has good vocals. Some of these songs might actually be good if the lyrics were changed and someone else was singing. I've also noticed that Emily Warren is, like, all over this album. Kind of strange, but I dont have a problem with that. I did like some tracks from here other than SJLT. I thought The One was a nice starting piano ballad even if it included some weird lines. Reminded me of something from ODESZA. The one with Florida Georgia Line is also a pretty good song. Definitely not the worst from this album. Even after this, I can respect one's opinion. If you want to watch an album review/rant on it, then here is one done by ARTV. Its a pretty laughable video, even if you disagree Yeah, this album is very accessible, but the lyrics get really annoying unfortunately. I'd give it a light 4/10. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just listened to the new Chainsmokers album. Stay away from this awful excuse of an album. After listening to Something Just Like This, I had hope. But nope[emoji107]. Stay away and just listen to Viva one more time instead. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Okay, for those saying that Lana Del Rey would be a perfect collab, I'd advise against such a collab. Her vocals are too softly toned (and in my opinion, too dreary and uninspired, especially on Honeymoon) for a Coldplay song. We need people like Florence Welch. Her doing her grand signature backing vocal style on a grandish rock coldplay track would be nothing short of amazing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

8/10 love the simplicity and atmosphere of this track. Production could be a little clearer, but maybe that's because its possibly a little old? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
