Don't want to offend anyone but seeing Coldplay in one line-up with Nicki Minaj and Imagine Dragons is pretty disappointing for me.

So I found another rumour telling that something's happening next year... Woodstock 2019. The post reads that this information is taken from 'a private presentation' and the official announce is coming soon. I'm providing the link to the post.

I feel like I'm living in a really strange time. So the band that we love and cherish went on a hiatus, saying that the next tour would be not earlier than 2021 and, a part from that, "we'll only be full of surprises". Now we get this movie and after the credits they (indirectly, of course) tease us with something we haven't seen before, leaving us again to discuss (and to speculate?). Then, the Portuguese show up saying "hey, there's gonna be a gig at Estadio da Luz next year". Of course NME swallow this info and add more hype to this topic. What I wanted to say initially was that if they really release new music next year, this will be even more ridiculous for me because in such case, there won't be this long and promised "hiatus". So, like, Coldplay are always near you. Which is as amazing thing of course. But having read tons of posts here with people agreeing they need a good break this whole situation makes me feel weird. I love Coldplay. But what I love even more is that they take a good rest and won't repeat themselves with another colorful AHFOD-like poppy release. Thank you. All is Love.

I enjoyed Fix You a lot but there are some interesting editing in the clip. At 4:25 (see the screenshot) Chris is pointing at the sky but the line "aaaaaaand I will tryyyyyyyyyy to Fix You" is being sung by (!!! surprisingly !!!) Chris Martin.

I kinda agree here. LIB feels like a song written very fast 'because they had to' and it is written in a half-assed manner. For SJLT I really hated it when heard for the first two times. But I must admit I really enjoy the verses now. But not the sound. And not these damn Chainsmokers. Speaking about LP8, I honestly don't know what to expect. Telling the truth I feel so strange since MX era was finished. I can't say that GS or AHFOD are bad, there are realy really great songs on these, but my feelings are not that good and positive about band's direction since GS introduction. AHFOD was a really tough one for me to get, I thought (and I still think) that this was a kind of a marketing joke or something. I adore the title track, Birds and Up&Up, that's it. But anyway I'm grateful for this huge and colorful tour they've done 'cause I finally got the chance to see them for the 1st time in my life, dreaming about this for 7-8 years. What are the options Coldplay could go from the musical point of view? They've been a rock band, they've been indie, they've been (and they are) pop and electronic. I really like the psychodelic idea though.
