  1. We give up hahaha
  2. So my university's planetarium put on another Coldplay light show, and, this time, I was able to go to it! It was amazing because not only did they play the hits, but they also played songs like Warning Sign, Strawberry Swing, Life In Technicolor, Major Minus, and Army of One! The girl running it asked for some suggestions to make a new Coldplay show, so I suggested things like Square One, Speed of Sound, and HLH that were not included. She also said she wanted to make a throwback Coldplay show with all old songs!
  3. I think this is an interesting account that Guy follows on Instagram. He only follows about 50 accounts, and most of them are verified accounts of famous people or things. Then there is this account. Zombaid was, of course, the fake charity that Chris and Jonny pretended to support in the movie Shaun of the Dead.
  4. It was being hosted by my university's planetarium, so, yeah, same sort of idea. I don't think there is any space aspect to it though. They do it for a lot of bands including Pink Floyd, Queen, Bruno Mars, Foo Fighters, David Bowie, Lady Gaga, Journey, etc, etc. The website said the Coldplay one was August 31 - Feb 8, but it appears you can buy tickets for a March 14 Coldplay show, so I hope that is real and not a glitch!
  5. I am so bummed. Apparently my university has been putting on Coldplay laser/light shows since August, and I didn't know about it, and I think tonight was the last one. I asked a whole bunch of people if they could go, and only one person could, but then they bailed out on me at the last minute, so I couldn't go. :( :( :(
  6. So my missing Butterfly Package situation has finally been resolved. I called Live Nation and told them that the package I received was empty, and they offered a refund. I was supposed to reveive a confirmation email within a few days, but I never did, and the money had not been returned to me. It took 3 more calls to Live Nation to ask about the status, and no one could tell me when I would get my money back. Eventually, my credit card company told me that I was refunded despite Live Nation telling me that they couldn't even see that a refund had been started. In the meantime, I bought it for half the price on Amazon. Moral of the story: Don't buy from Live Nation (Coldplay store), and don't trust their customer service.
  7. Aw, I'm so sorry about that! Luckily, they are posted on YouTube! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ym5qdmVwJTY Mobile Link: https://youtu.be/Ym5qdmVwJTY
  8. Aw, that's too bad! Maybe try it in a different player like a computer. Or try choosing one of those songs from the scene selection menu for the actual concert and see if it is switched and plays the multi-angle footage haha.
  9. I'm not sure, that is my first guess
  10. Hmmm that's strange. Maybe you need to change the audio settings?
  11. I don't think it's interactive. You just click enter to play each of the songs. Daylight, GPASUYF, and Trouble just play 4 close-ups of each member, while In My Place switches between different views from the stage. And while I was looking into this, I realized that the close-up footage of Will and Guy for the first 3 songs were filmed on different nights because you can see Will in the background of Guy's video, and his actions when not drumming in his video do not match what he is doing in Guy's video.
  12. Did anyone notice on the back of the liner note booklet (at least in the CD version of the Butterfly Package) that there is a typo in the word Parlophone? They spelled it with two Ps at the front....Pparlophone.
  13. There are 2 types of people at a Coldplay concert: 1. Very into it and 2. "I can't believe my girlfriend dragged me here"
  14. No, there has been too little participation in recent years to sustain it. So sorry, I feel sad about it too. :(
  15. Sorry if this has already been discussed, but I just got a chance to listen to (most of) the live album for the first time.....Is it just me or does the AHFOD song sound really bad? Like you can barely hear the guitar or bass...
  16. I've dealt with them before; I doubt they'll do anything let alone believe me that it was missing. :/
  17. THIS IS THE LAST TIME I EVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM LIVENATION!!!!
  18. I AM VERY MAD!!! ALL I GOT IN THE MAIL WAS A PIECE OF CARDBOARD WITH MY ADDRESS ON IT!!!! NO BUTTERFLY PACKAGE!!!
  19. Mine is supposedly arriving in the mail today!
  20. Might I also add Pure Imagination (Gene Wilder cover) performed at the Denver show to the list of covers. :D
  21. For all you who are too broke to buy the new stuff and who ordered from Livenation, I just received this...
  22. Has anyone in the US received a shipping confirmation yet?
  23. So is anyone gonna wait until Christmas to open it? I am doing that for Debs' book and will probably do it for this.
  24. AMDB9 replied to jainharshul96's topic in Coldplay
Yeah, and I guess most people don't know that. I just happen to be taking a class about the Caribbean this semester, so that's how I knew...
  25. AMDB9 replied to jainharshul96's topic in Coldplay
Nobody has said this yet, but Voodoo is an African-based religion that is actually from the Caribbean. And it is technically spelled and pronounced Vodou, so I'm surprised no one has complained yet about cultural appropriation. I really like the song though!
