its so the tracks dont get judged as proper album tracks.....eg til kingdom come might not fit the themes and ideas behind X&Y, and might not flow in the album so well but they thought it was good enough to put in, hence it being a secret track- if u listen to it its completely different from anything else on the album so it would have stuck out if they'd have just slapped it anywhere else on the album

Does anyone know how to play Sparks correctly? the version i have is standard tuning with capo on first fret.... its from mxtabs but it doesnt sound right as C Am7 in the verse? which is what it says hmmm wondering if anyone had a different version? :guitarist:

it is sick and wrong....it is a pitiful reflection of our country i guess. OK ALL OF US MUST GO AND BUY THE SINGLE THIS WEEK...it will be a real shame if they dont get to no 1 after being beaten by flippin Darius last time they deserve a number one they're the best and most important thing to happen to British music in years!

i think it could of been better- it was alright, but another performace video without anything innovative was a bit dull, it just feels as if its not very 'coldplay'..... i dont like the stupid wobbly camera bits :/ and all the guys look like they have been asked to exagerrate their playing so it looks good as silhouettes against the lights but i dont think it works that well. and i think it looks like it was rushed together- a lot of the movements/actions eg the bit where chris covers his eyes etc are obv meant to go on the beats of the music but it doesnt quite fit right they're not quite in sync (maybe thats just me tho)

OK please tell me if this is a stupid question...! Right. Ive been playing the guitar for about a month and after playing various songs on a standard tuning i now want to play other stuff with different tuning ie coldplay's stuff, lots of which seems to be on alternative tuning! :) i understand that u do this by adjusting the strings to the different notes, i have a pretty standard automatic guitar tuner, is it possible to tune the guitar using this or do i need a different sort of tuner or is there another way around it? Any advice from more seasoned players would be very appreciated! :guitarist:

i read somewhere this week (and I cant remember where!) what name the album has been sent out under to reviewers etc i think its something like 'fir trees' or something...that might be wrong tho! can anyone help?
