  1. hehehe yeh i know! but having said that i've seen them live 11 times now and had so many nearly amazing moments like when i dropped guy's (i think) disposible camera at Glastonbury and Chris' harmonica before that so i was so excited when something actually went right!!!!
  2. ok please don't write a story like that again. or at least don't post it here if u do. that's just weird :o
  3. ok you may have read my report from Earls Court 14th December where I said that Chris took my phone during Talk and sang into it. I nearly died! Here are the photos of the event unfolding! Enjoy! ps i hope the attachments work.
  4. Earls Court holds 22,000 people according to a steward I spoke to. 8-10,000 of those standing. Where were you?
  5. yep it is. the same one as crystal palace.
  6. Trouble, Green Eyes AND Shiver! I got none of those on Wednesday you lucky buggers! :o
  7. the voicemail is ok and you can hear the song but the bit where he actually sang into my phone (cos it feels like theyre talking in language i don't speak, and theyre talking it to me) is very muffled. Maybe microphones and phones dont get on so well and cause feedback etc.? anyway yeah the barrier at the front is really long so could fit about 40 people on it.
  8. Ok - the story in full - ish Got to Earls Court at 8.45am and met a guy called Martin who was already there. The Earls Court people were really disorganised and didnt even have a place for us to queue so after loads of asking around, they finally put some barriers up. met some really cool people like Az, Steph, Abba and Tasha (i think) in the queue. We kept being moved from place to place which was annoying cos it meant some people pushed in the queue then finally at 6.30 we were allowed in. This was absolutely appallingly organised because were were let into this massive room and no1 told us where to go. It turned out to be the area with all the bars etc behind the seats but it meant that again more people could push in. ANYWAY finally got to the barrier first with my sisterand had an awesome time standing right in front of Chris' mic. The set was amazing and I couldnt believe how close we were to the stage given it was an arena gig. All the guys were on top form. They even played How You See The World which was so good to hear live. Anyway the greatest bit of the night was during Talk. I'd already seen Chris take someone's phone during the EMAs earlier this year so i got my phone ready and dialled my number so it would go to my voicemail. Then Chris crouched right in front of me to sing the verse and i reached out as far as i could and after some persuation (i shouted so loud! - i presumed he didnt wanna do it cos they were recording that version for the download and didnt wanna mess it up) he took it. My sister and I went mental as he sang into my phone! Then he hung up and called someone (when i looked later he had called my friend rob who was in my list of last called numbers!!!) I called him later and he had picked up but it was way too loud so was really muffled. Then Chris put the phone on the floor and left it there for the rest of the song. (i have photos of the whole thing - will post up soon). Some of my friends were in seated, saw it on the screen and were like "is that Graham's phone?!" Hahahaha!! Anyway the rest of the gig passed in a blur because I was in so much shock. Fix You was superb too tho. When they all sing together it makes life seem complete! So there you go. The best gig I've ever been to but now I'm on such a low cos I know it may never get any better! ps Richard Ashcroft wins the award for best support act ever. Sang all the verve classics and his new stuff sounds good too.
  9. ok can't talk for long but it was my phone chris took in talk!!!!!! my sister was next to me and she got photos and a video so i'll post them up soon. he called my last dialled number - one of my best friends! best moment of my life!!! the gig was absolutely incredible aand i'm still on the biggest high. Arrived at 9am to get on the barrier and i was dead centre. unbelievable. i'll post more soon.
  10. Hey I know i've mentioned this in another thread but just wondering when everyone's planning on getting there tomorrow. I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. do you think coldplay will play shiver at earls court on wednesday? i think theyve started to play it in their encore a few times recently. that would be amazing! i haven't heard it live for 2 years!
  12. i camped on the pavement to get tickets for he strokes at ULU 2 weeks ago and i survived 15 hours of that so queuing during the day on wednesday will be easy!
  13. stop complaining! get standing! and get there early!
  14. cheers buzz5. what happened to u?
  15. like 9am? although london transport costs way more before 9.30. but anything for coldplay!
  16. its should be a proper queue cos it goes round the building as opposed to a field at crystal palace. i'm going on the 14th and am thinking of getting there early.
  17. i think it's ridiculous. just making more money by taking advantage of their fans. there should just be one version like all their other singles. obviously im gonna buy them all but it's a bit mcfly. hoping its not the band's idea.
  18. sorry if i sounded unexcited bout the whole thing. seeing guy was probably one of the coolest and most amazing moments of my life and my heart was beating dangerously fast for about a week after!!! he even put his arm around me and properly smiled in the photo! seemed really pleased to be recognised in the street randomly cos i guess that doesnt happen that often to guy will and jonny. he was lovely and now i can say ive talked to the gold bag lady!!!! ps i'll try post the picture soon once i figure out how to do it.
  19. hey sorry yeh i was in waterloo had just been in victoria that day too so got confused! marriane had brown hair i think but was looking at will most. tried taking a photo but they'd gone past me by the time i cd take one. ps don't know if i posted this earlier, was really busy at the time but i saw guy in hampstead last april. he was with joanna (is that her name?) and another guy. i actually do have a picture of that taken on my phone by joanna (or gold bag lady!). She took one then said "guy u look shit in that one" so took it again. was so cool! I asked him to say hi to jonny from me (cos jonny's my hero) and they said they were on their way to meet up with him now! a good day :D ps how do i put a phone pic on my computer?
  20. Not sure where I should really post this or if anyone will care but I saw Will running through Victoria station yesterday with who i presume was Marriane. I tried to follow (not like a stalker!) but got lost in the crowd. So exciting! Seemed like he was seeing her off at Eurostar or something cos only she had a bag. Very surreal though seeing them in normal situations as opposed to on stage!
  21. i'd like to see them in their old flat on camden road playing brothers and sisters or something. that would be amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. it scares me a lot cos i don't think i'd cope if they broke up. :(
  23. his birthday is 11th September 1977
  24. well maybe we should start off with fairly regular stuff so that then we can get to the more interesting stuff. I'll start - he studied maths and astronomy at UCL and got a 2.1
