i think it's great cos it's gonna put to rest all those twats who think coldplay are too serious for their own good which we all know they aren't. they never joke about with their studio albums which is quite right, so why not have fun with the videos? comic genius!

It's actually called Sleeping Sun and the single isn't being released tomorrow. The video for Talk is being premiered tomorrow but the single won't be released until 19th December.

james blunt is absolutely terrible. coldplay are great musicians who make songs which are strong musically and vocally. james blunt plays shit chords and just uses a capo to make them sound different and his voice is utterly banal. there is no sign of clever guitar work or any thought in the backing of his songs. e.g. the guitar part at the beginning of your beautiful (all of 3 notes) could be played by someone who had been playing guitar for a week. i hate him and i don't think its a coincidence that his name rhymes with a world beginning with c and ending in unt.

i can't believe it's selling for 40 pounds! u can get them way cheaper if u have a good look around in record stores.

studland bay in poole. how do they get it to go from dark to light in a 4 minute song? how did they film it?

im on a bit of a mission to find the exact places where the coldplay videos were shot (the outside scenes so u can actually go see them). i know most of them like yellow, the scientist, fix you (the rest eg shiver in my place are indoors) but im not sure where trouble and god put a smile are done tho. i heard trouble was somewhere in kings cross and the filming was really late at night. apparently they heard a scream across the road in a really dodgy area and found that a girl posing as prostitue had lured this old man into a corner and this guy beat him up and robbed him. how lovely! not sure i actualy wanna go there on reflection after that story! but still would like to know. also where is the god put a smile video set? somewhere in london?

ladder to the sun would be soo good! or maybe a coldplay version of gravity after embrace ruined it. solid ground would be great too. hopefully not just a live version tho. wasnt too impressed only getting a live version of pour me.

has everyone heard the second version of it on the trouble single? i think its better that the original version.

as much as i do like the new songs (from a rush of blood to the head and x&y), it's a shame we can't have more of the old coldplay where the songs weren't too produced. careful where you stand is perfect example of this. sounds like it was recorded to sound really personal whereas newer more produced and synth based songs you can tell are more written with big venues in mind. what do u think?
