^ Absolutely agreed! I think that an album is kinda "one unite", every song has to fit well with the others, it's one story, one part, one masterpiece :P And the individual b-sides, which all sound great themselves, wouldn't be as good on the album I guess..

I didn't read all of that, but.. I find it incredibly funny. In Austria, we've had so many sex scandals with serious bishops in high positions! They preach so many things, and then end up in tabloids like this.. Don't even know what to say about that :P

Very good - I like the fact that Zach Braff did that, you know, and also the guys from The O.C. - that they use their shows and movies to promote the music they love :D I noticed the same with a very small, unknown German TV series that was never successful - but I kept watching it because they played lots of Coldplay b-sides in the background :)

I've always been against death penalty, no matter if it's a tyrant like Saddam Hussein or a killer or a rapist or whatever.. To me, the biggest punishment is still letting someone rot in jail - killing him will only set him free! I can't wait until the day when death penalty will be forbidden all across the world. It's such a mediaeval thing to do, and our decade should know better.. I doubt that day will come though..

Haha, so true :P "Fix You" has been EVERYWHERE lately - whenever they need a sad, quiet song, they use this one! Don't they release that there are so many wonderful Coldplay ballads like Gravity, How you see the world, The Scientist, whatever?

Well, and they should have put Gravity, How you see the World and Sleeping Sun on it, too.. They can't put all songs on it, that's why we have such brilliant b-sides :D I'm fine with that!

Yeah, like I said, Embrace did a wonderful song - but only if you haven't heard the Coldplay version :P At least that's what happened in my case - I loved the Embrace version and thought it was such a beautiful, brilliant song, until I heard Chris' version and was totally blown away by it. The Embrace version was nice, but couldn't blow me away ;)

Yeah I've seen it somewhere - but I thought some fan would have made it. I've seen a collage of Star Wars scenes with "Fix You" in the background, and it wasn't an official promo, it was done by a Star Wars & Coldplay fan.. ?!

I can't say if American Idiot was a good album or not, as I haven't listened to it, but the Green Day Hype last year was really annoying indeed! They won everything, it got boring :P
