We've had a similar thread just a few days ago.. All artists critisize their early work, there's nothing unusual or wrong with that! Listen to their MTV Spin Interview from late 2005 (here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0Y-Udt435Y&eurl=) where Will says that their early stuff is the best they've ever done and Chris obviously agrees with him ;)

Oooh I remember these pasteis de belem now, I DID eat them, at a dinner party :D I just didn't know how they were called.. A friend of my friend's mum had a birthday and had lots of sweets and pastries offered.. They tasted really good :D But.. do you know Ovos Moles - I think that's the right expression, I think they are from Aveiro and I'm CRAZY about them :D

I just watched the episode where Rory and Lorelai finally reunite again and fall into each other's arms - and I cried my heart out :D Woooonderful !!

I think that the prettiest compliment I've gotten so far is "Whenever I'm listening to Coldplay from now on, I'm gonna think of you." - that makes me proud :D It's not really a compliment, but something really nice.. Another thing is that one random guy from my class, who I've never been close friends with, once told me "I know that we aren't best friends, and we don't always get along great, but let me tell you that just by the things you do, and just because of your big heart and your ability to listen to others, you're my most favourite in class"

I've had of his music very often, but never gave it a shot.. But today, I watched an episode of The O.C. and his song "For the Widows in Paradise, For the Fatherless in Ypsilanti" and I got goosebumps right away.. It was like "love at first sight" with this song, this artist, this music.. Gorgeous!!

^ Well, if I'd have to write a critic after listening to the album just once, I'd probably slag it off as well :P

I'm open for all ideas, but just imagine everyone on here would do that - they'd get hundreds of e-mails and would only be ANNOYED about the spamming, and not CONVINCED of releasing a DVD!

Oh don't worry, thanks for replying anyway :) I'm definitely going to look for these pastries the next time I'm in Lisbon! I like Fingertips, though Miguel sent me some great other bands yesterday and I'm really fond of them - Toranja and Mesa sound really, really good :D I don't have a bad impression of Portuguese music at all! My friends in Portugal only showed me José Cid and Tiago to make me laugh :P And it worked ^^ Tiago has like the funniest voice I've ever heard, and I looove the banana song :D Yesterday I even told Miguel that all the Portuguese I've met so far had a brilliant taste in music :) Hope you get on with studying, good luck :)
