Oh, and to speak about the "betrayal" aspect: My first boyfriend actually left me for someone he met on the internet :P I was just 14 though, so I was stupid, he was stupid, and it wasn't such a big deal.. It was still weird though, thinking: "I can't even compete with someone he hasn't even SEEN yet? Strange.."

Exactly! I feel terrible for being jealous. But I've experienced that before, with so many friends.. When it seems like everybody around me is happy and finds their significant other, but I'm still alone.. It sucks not being able to feel happy for them, but I just can't change my feelings..

I do think that it's possible. I've met great people on the internet, even my best friend. She's the best friend I've ever had and the conversations we share on the internet are better than any of those I have in real life. I have met her since meeting her online, though, and we get along in real life as great as we do online. Falling in love is complex, but.. to me, falling in love with someone on the internet is just like "love at first sight": 1) On the internet, you ONLY know the personality, you talk a lot, you find out about each other's thoughts and secrets. But you never touch that person, you never look into his/her eyes, you're never close to him/her. - Can you love someone without ever looking into their eyes? 2) I've personally experienced 'Love at first sight' before. You just look at that person, and you feel like you've never felt before - you look into his eyes and you just know it: "This is it." - Can you love someone without having ever talked to them? To me, both is possible. May it be physical attraction that leads to love, or internet conversations that lead to the same. Everything's possible :D

Do you sometimes have the feeling that.. well, when your best friend is finally happy and gets a boyfriend, that you DO feel happy for her, but on the other hand, you wish you could finally be that happy, too. And you wanna show her how happy you are for her, but you simply can't express it because deep inside, you're damn jealous and sad that you still haven't found that luck and happiness..

Well, there can be many reasons why you don't have sex.. And your article mentioned this one man who kinda created a phobia after kissing a girl, so he might be scared to get intimate with someone (again)..

Good lord.. Don't they have any GOOD ideas anymore? This is getting ridiculous.. Why does every little aspects of life have to be shown on TV? Next thing they do is a reality show about people pissing in the shower because they're scared of sitting down on a toilet seat full of bacteria.. Gosh.. And how can anyone PARTICIPATE in this? I can't imagine anything more embarrassing than being shown as a scared, old virgin having to be forced to have sex..

Du sprichst mir aus der Seele ;) Well said, Grace! I feel exactly the same.. I usually always want "one big thing" for Christmas, like a DVD recorder like last year or a mobile phone like the year before.. But this year, there are lots of DVDs and CDs on my list to enlarge my collection :D

Damien Rice - Cannonball

The latest band I stopped listening to is Keane.. Simply couldn't stand their second album, it was boring and just a cheap copy from their 1st one, like Nik said.. In addition, I used to be a huge Franz Ferdinand fan but smashed them after their disappointing gig in Vienna last winter.. They just sucked live, so I stopped listening to them from one day to the other. And I listened to lots of stuff by Supergrass, Blur and Stereophonics, but haven't really the past few months, which is a pity..

I've been to two of their gigs this year - I won tickets for the first one, a promotional gig, and paid for the second :P They are brilliant live, and the album is very catchy indeed - the guys are incredibly nice and laid back, too, talked to them after their last gig! But I have to admit that their songs are a bit "too" catchy because I don't listen to them as often as I used to, they just become too annoying after some time.. It's a bit like with Keane, the songs are great but you get sick of them easily!

There was just one single gig I've really been looking forward to: Damien Rice live in Vienna on March 13, 2007 The tickets were supposed to be available from today. Guess what. Show's cancelled. Kill me right now :(

Hehe after cooking so many fantastic meals, it should be no wonder for him becoming fat :P What a miracle that he always stayed that fit!

I doubt they'd turn the Latin American tour into a DVD - why should they release new songs on DVD before releasing the album? I highly doubt that.. The possibility that they didn't release the Toronto DVD yet because the tour isn't over (obviously) sounds more likely to me though..

I really, really like the new song :D Am I the only one to think it has some sort of 'country' touch to it? NME said it would sound like 'The Scientist' - but to me, it definitely has the style of 'Til Kingdom Come', don't you think? I love it :D
