Oh believe me, I'd like him to release more CDs, too! I don't share the opinions of others saying he doesn't have any talent - he may not be the best singer on earth, but he truly is an entertainer and though I've never been a big fan of him, I joined a friend of mine at one of Robbie's concerts and it was one of the best nights of my life, because he truly knows how to ENTERTAIN people! And let me tell you, I absolutely LOVED his swing album and I truly hope that the rumours of him releasing another one like this again in the future! But.. just look at him! He might have had his good times, but most of the time he seems sad, sick and powerless. I feel sorry for him, to be honest.. He's just a troubled kid, he always was!

I think it's just a matter of time until he retires. He obviously can't handle his own life anymore.. He's either gonna retire soon or we'll read of him taking too many pills and dying a tragic death like Elvis.. NO, I don't want to compare Robbie with The King of Rock'n'Roll, I'm just saying that both of them have serious issues, may it be with career, pressure or drugs..

I just found something very, very interesting which I completely forgot! I browsed through my youtube videos and in this MTV Spin Interview, Will says the following: "I don't think we can listen to the album [X&Y], I think I'm only just about able to start appreciating the songs we wrote for the first record." "The other day we listened to one of our songs that we've written more like 7 years ago, it was on the first EP we ever released. And we all thought it was the best thing we've ever done." They do appreciate it, folks :P

I absolutely agree with Nik. Chris might have done something wrong, but he still encourages other people, and he certainly doesn't use his power for bad, but for good things! It might be true that some of his actions show that he's maybe just a hypocryte, but at least he makes us aware of all these problems - the question, if he himself is even aware of that, is another topic..

Haven't bought the new album yet, but I absolutely loved the new song "Rudebox" and "Lovelight" sounds quite good as well.. I saw Robbie live this summer and "Rudebox" sounded absolutely amazing live :D

Ich weiß, dass es hier schon einen Thread für "Deutsche Fans" gibt, aber wir Österreicher brauchen langsam mal doch unseren eigenen, oder nicht? :P Ich bin sicher nicht der patriotischste Mensch auf Erden, im Gegenteil, aber da ich hier schon zumindest zwei lieben Österreichern über den Weg gelaufen bin, hab ich mir gedacht, es wird mal Zeit für einen rein österreichischen Bereich ;) Ich befürchte zwar, dass dieser aufgrund von mangelnden österreichischen Usern bald aussterben wird, aber ein Versuch ist's wert =) Eigentlich ist es ja traurig, dass wir wahrscheinlich nicht mal besonders viel "Typisch Österreichisches" zu plaudern haben.. Besonders tolle Bands haben wir ja nicht zu bieten, und auf unsere Politiker brauchen wir auch nicht allzu stolz sein! ^^ Und auf unser Fernsehen schon gar nicht.. Aber egal, nicht so viel Negatives, schätzen wir lieber unser schönes, grünes, bergiges Land, mit Kängurus und jodelnden Dirndl-Trägern :P

Exactly! I found lots of great artists on myspace, and it's a good thing to try their songs before deciding to buy the whole album! So if I like their songs on myspace, I go and get the CD =)

The search function only showed me a post where Declan was mentioned sometime last year, but I thought that this brilliant Irish singer/songwriter deserves a thread of his own, especially since releasing his album "Since Kyabram" this year! I saw him supporting Snow Patrol in Vienna one week ago and I fell in love with him IMMEDIATELY. I absolutely love "Your World", "No place to Hide", and... simply every single song!! I found his album at my local store (and was really surprised by that) and can't stop listening to it since buying it! I just noticed that he's got a Myspace site as well (http://www.myspace.com/declanorourke), so go there and give his songs a try, you won't regret it :D

If they'd start accepting every single friends request, they'd have millions of users and messages all day.. Don't forget that "they" is just one person of their team, publishing news or tour dates or whatever.. It isn't that special to be added there, as it doesn't really have anything to do with the band itself anyway.
